Tahoe Sands Resort is an older property with a mixture of freestanding or attached cabins and a hotel-style two-story building. These structures were built in the 1940’s and 1950’s. Our units are located on the lakeside and mountainside of North Lake Boulevard, a two-lane road with an easily accessible cross walk.
We are currently working on plans for interior renovations and exterior improvements. Construction has begun and will be ongoing throughout the upcoming year. Our last major interior remodel was completed in the late 1990’s.
The Tahoe Sands Resort has one of the best private sand beaches on all of Lake Tahoe, making it one of the most sought-out locations.

Within the last six months we have installed new mattresses in every unit and new high-quality linens adorn every bed on property.
Free wireless internet available in all units.
The year-round spa and sauna are open 9am–9pm daily. Pools open Memorial weekend through September.
